John Warren ABP Ltd. Is a family owned animal by-product and food waste collection and disposal business based in the north east of England. The fully licensed site based at Hamsterley in County Durham has been established since 1946.
The business services the entire sector from the farm through abattoirs, processors and finally to retail outlets.
The services provided include:
- Fallen stock collections from farms
- Animal By-Product collection from abattoirs, processors and retail outlets
- Food waste collections from processors and retail outlets
- Used oil collections from retail outlets and catering facilities
The John Warren ABP site at Hamsterley is an approved animal by-product collection centre, a fully licensed waste transfer station and an approved sampling site for over 48 month cattle and the TSE surveillance scheme.
